A 1960s Butterfly

A classic example of what is known as the "butterfly roof house". This home in Launceston is a striking example of 1960s style. It would have to rate as one of the cities Modernist residential landmarks.

Similar house by Esmond Dorney in Sandy Bay. But apparently this house in Launceston was done by an avid admirer.
