Burnie has a wealth of Modernist homes built during the early to mid 20th Century as a result of a booming population in response to new industries that were being established at the time.
This Streamline Art Deco Home is a good example of the style. There are many features that are of interest including the balcony, brickwork, lead-lighting and original timber frame windows. The owners of this suburban home are clearly proud of their home as the original features inside and out are proudly maintained.
