Art Deco T&G Building Hobart

I love to scout vantage points for the iconic Modernist buildings that I love, this one being the wonderful Art Deco T&G building in Hobart.  The buildings may remain in the same place, but seeking vantage points allows a different perspective on a familiar scene.

  1. Have a look at the T&G Building in Mildura which looks spookily similar to yours. I wonder which came first and if there are any others?

  2. Yes Helen, there are several T&G buildings that are of a similar style around Australia, I've noticed this on my documentation around Australia. There is a wonderful one in Albury. There was also one in Townsville, that was demolished in 2008 that looks very similar to the link that you provided.
