Australian 20th Century Modernist Architecture - 20,000km in pursuit of Modern Gems

Ever wondered what Australia has to offer in regards to Art Deco & Modernism architecture and design? Check out my sister-blog "Australian Art Deco & Modernism" to check out my project exploring 20c design from Melbourne to Mossman in tropical Far North Queensland. 20,000KM of driving in the pursuit of Modernist design!

  1. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction Thomas...I am going to enjoy looking at all those lovely buildings...Whitsunday International Hotel...very nice.
You need to bring your camera to W.A...lots of lovely/deco buildings'd love the Iwanoffs but there are plenty of others. I'm getting a new camera (read decent) soon so I will have to start taking pics of my favourites before they are demolished or wrecked with bad reno's.
