Open House Hobart #1 - Railway Roundabout Fountain

There is nothing that says 1960s Tasmania more to me than the Railway Roundabout in Hobart. Part of Open House Hobart (22/11/2014) , I love the recent rennovations that have brought the colour and water back to the fountain after years of it not working. The walkway tunnel networks to the fountain, the major roundabout highway connecting the city, the Brooker Highway and Tasman bridge are all part of 1960s Hobart, and they all link up to this wonderful piece of sculpture!

  1. What a terrific piece and yes, it screams out the 1960s. Ah, yes, I know where that is.
