Staircases from the 20th Century Project

Here is another preview from my project "Staircases from the 20th Century". I've walked up and down so many stairs over the years to photograph this overlooked part of our built history. I look foward to bringing you the project soon!

  1. Looking up or down staircases always makes me think of the writing of Franz Kafka, but I am not sure why. Perhaps someone else knows? Did Kafka write about staircases or did someone else take up this symbol? Anyway, thanks again Thomas, for your superb photographs.
